The NComputing vSpace platform is a low-cost alternative to Citrix and VMware. Going after its sweet spot in the market place first, vSpace Pro 10 gives schools and small to medium sized businesses the ability to run and manage up to 100 virtual desktops from a single host machine. Their new desktop virtualization platform solution offers a redesigned UI and UX and includes a set of brand new cloud features. Today, NComputing is announcing the launch of vSpace Pro 10 (numbering the release in a way as to probably grab on to the Windows 10 market). The company is back, in full force, and ready to once again go after the desktop virtualization market, perhaps filling in the void left by the shutdown of vWorkspace by Dell. And part of their reorg and refocusing led the company to shift away from the enterprise, ditch its oneSpace desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) platform, and return its focus to the small business and education markets. The company downsized and underwent a couple of big layoffs. The company has had its own trials and tribulations, and they've spent the better part of a year now refocusing its efforts on its virtualization platform and thin client devices. We haven't heard much from NComputing for a while now.
